As part of the 2015 Executive Steering Committee of VEBB the panel discussed the importance of innovation in the employee benefits business.

As part of the annual Workplace Benefits Association Renaissance meeting in Atlantic City New Jersey, Donald A. Rowe, RHU Vice President of Employee Benefits at Legal Club participated again this year in the Temple Mentoring Program. Each year several students from the Temple University Fox School of Business attend the event to meet and learn from industry leaders. This year's event attracted a record crowd of 22 Temple Students. Rowe is pictured here at the Legal Club booth with his mentee for this year Erika Wolfe.

Donald A. Rowe, RHU VP of Employee Benefits at Legal Club of America was a participant in a panel on the importance of Legal Plans in a sound employee benefits offering. The panel, which featured other industry experts, discussed the importance of offering group legal to employees. Rowe is often quoted "employees don't leave their problems in the parking lot. Smart employers help their employees find quick and easy solutions to life's problems."
Legal Club’s Donald Rowe mentors Temple University Student
During the recent Work Place Benefits Association (WBA) meeting in Atlantic City, several Temple University Insurance and Risk Management Majors joined the meeting for a day of mentoring with industry leaders. “This program was developed by Temple Alum Rob Shestack of AMWins and is a great program. This is the 2nd year I have participated," says Legal Club VP Donald Rowe. "The young man assigned to me was Paul Hancz (pictured) who is a junior at Temple. He is a delightful young man." Legal Club of America was one of 65 voluntary benefits vendors who exhibited at the recent conference in Atlantic City.
Donald A. Rowe ascends to Presidency of the Voluntary Employee Benefits Board (VEBB)
The Voluntary Employee Benefits Board (VEBB) held their annual meeting on April 28 and 29 in San Diego California. The meeting was a terrific success and was very well attended. Industry experts from LIMRA, Eastbridge and others spoke to the assembled group of attendees. Among the many events at every annual meeting of VEBB is the announcement of the coming years VEBB Executive Board. This year Donald A. Rowe, RHU, Vice President of Employee Benefits at Legal Club of America ascended to the position of President of VEBB for the 2013 to 2014 term. " Donald did a great job as the Program Chair last year and all of us are looking forward to an even better year this year " Says VEBB Past President Kelli M. Legeyt of United Health Care.
VEBB, the Voluntary Employee Benefits Board, is a group of worksite professionals, composed primarily of carrier/home-office employees. Members attend the annual conference to share ideas, experiences and knowledge, while networking with industry peers. For over 30 years, VEBB members have been influencing the direction of the voluntary benefits business. VEBB members include worksite professionals, representing a wide range of insurance carriers and associations, in varied roles such as marketing, product development, sales, operations and underwriting.

Legal Club's Donald A. Rowe elected to position of 4th President Elect of Worksite Benefits Association
Donald A. Rowe, RHU, VP of Employee Benefits at Legal Club of America was elected to the position of 4th President Elect of the Worksite Benefits Association at their recent meeting in Las Vegas. Rowe has been a board member of the Worksite Benefits Advisory Board for several years. The WBA advisory board is made up of leading players in the Voluntary Benefits arena. It is open to both carrier and agent / broker members. As a result of last week's election, Rowe will now be in line to be the President of the Worksite Benefits Association as part of a pre determined succession.

Legal Club Presents $100,000 check to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®
On Thursday, April 14, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® held its annual Hot Pink Party at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, raising nearly $4.5 million with over 1,100 guests in attendance. Legal Club of America® presented The BCRF with a check for $100,000 at the event.
Legal Club attends the 2011 Breast Cancer Research Foundation® Hot Pink Luncheon and Symposium in Palm Beach, FL
This annual event to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, was held on Monday, February 7th at The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL. The Luncheon featured an informal fashion presentation by Neiman Marcus followed by a Symposium titled "How Sicence is Revolutionizing our Approach to Breast Cancer" moderated by Larry Norton, MD, BCRF Scientific Director, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Panelists included representatives from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, the Mayo Clinic, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.
