In the NewsLegal Club Launches It’s Preferred Plan Attorney Program FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 15, 2007, Sunrise, Florida, Legal Club of America’s CEO, Brett Merl, announces the launch of its Preferred Plan Attorney (PPA) program. Effective August 2007, Legal Club will assign a PPA to all corporate clients. This new service enhancement will help improve and solidify a long term relationship between Legal Club and their agent’s corporate clients. The company had been piloting this program for a little more than a year and the results warranted a national rollout. The purpose of assigning a PPA is to establish a working relationship between the employer and the Legal Club plan attorney providing service to their employees. Through the worksite agent, the PPA will be introduced to the employer and subsequently made available to meet with the employees at least once a year to hold educational workshops. In addition to providing free and discounted legal care, the PPA also agrees to meet with the human resources staff, participate in open enrollments, hold annual educational seminars on a variety of topics and be available for emergency referrals. “We have found that assigning a PPA to each worksite client helps put a face on the product “, says Merl. “Imagine the impact the presence of a plan attorney has fielding questions during the enrollment process”. “Suddenly the benefit becomes real and the process of working with an attorney is no longer foreign or intimidating”. At other cases where Legal Club has implemented this program, they have achieved very strong results, not only in terms of member and HR department satisfaction, but also in the area of increased enrollment year over year. Since 1994, Legal Club of America® has been providing individuals, and their families, with access to free and discounted legal care, through their proprietary network of plan attorneys. In January 2000, Legal Club identified the need to provide its members with access to additional professional services to address issues that sometimes accompany their legal needs. For that reason they created the Family Protection Plan, which provides members with access to professionals in the following fields; Tax Advice and Preparation, Financial Education and Credit Counseling, Identity Theft Services and LifeEvents™ Counseling.
