About Legal Club of America®

Since 1994, Legal Club of America® has been providing individuals and small business owners with access to the nation’s largest proprietary network of plan attorneys. This network provides Legal Club members with free and discounted legal care.

The company’s flagship product is the Family Legal Plan. In recent years, Legal Club created a suite of unique benefits to better meet the increased needs of its individual clients and their families. After years of communicating with its members, it became apparent that member’s legal needs were generally accompanied by other personal issues that required the services of professionals in a variety of fields. As such, Legal Club created the Family Protection Plan (FPP).

The FPP, anchored by the Family Legal Plan, provides members with access to a nationwide network of professionals that have contracted to provide free and discounted care in the following fields:

  • Legal Care
  • Tax Preparation & Advice
  • Financial Education & Credit Counseling
  • Identity Theft Solutions
  • LifeEvents™ Counseling

Legal Club has partnered with the nation's largest insurance carriers, benefit consultants and worksite marketing companies, to distribute their legal plan to employees of corporate America. Today, Legal Club possesses one of the most expansive distribution networks in the country. Thousands of captured and independent agents carry the Family Legal Plan as a seamless part of their voluntary benefits portfolio.

Legal Club's legal plans are unique due to the fact that they are not insurance in all 50 states. Therefore, our marketing partners don’t have to be licensed to sell Legal Club plans, and the plans maintain their continuity across the country.

Legal Club plans have no limitations on usage, no pre-existing condition exclusions and no waiting periods before usage is permitted. More importantly, Legal Club’s proprietary attorney network is the only one in the country that caps its hourly rate at $125.00 per hour, or 40% off the attorney’s usual and customary hourly rate, whichever is greater.
